En l&#8217;acte van participar l&#8217;alcalde Jes\u00fas Ros, la regidora de Gesti\u00f3 de la Ciutat, Inma Amat, i els portaveus de la corporaci\u00f3 local, aix\u00ed com representants de Protecci\u00f3 Civil. \u201cVolem agrair, en nom de la ciutat de Torrent, l&#8217;enorme treball que ha dut a terme el voluntariat de Protecci\u00f3 Civil durant tots aquests anys, per a ajudar, de manera, altruista els torrentins i torrentines en els moments que m\u00e9s es necessita\u201d, va destacar la regidora de Gesti\u00f3 de la Ciutat, Inma Amat.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Com a voluntariat especialitzat en emerg\u00e8ncies, l&#8217;\u00e0mbit d&#8217;actuaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest cos \u00e9s molt ampli, ja que assumeix una gran varietat de funcions de suport als cossos d&#8217;emerg\u00e8ncies professionals, entre les quals destaca la seua intervenci\u00f3 en incendis forestals, accidents, inundacions i altres desastres meteorol\u00f2gics, aix\u00ed com en l&#8217;auxili de persones majors o en la senyalitzaci\u00f3 de perills en les vies p\u00fabliques.
